Adhesive for Stone on a Roll / Carbon Panels / Stone Veneer – dedicated 600 ml

A dedicated 600 ml mounting adhesive cartridge, designed specifically for installing Stone on a Roll, Carbon Wall Panels, and Stone Veneer. It provides a strong, flexible, and durable bond with the substrate in both dry and wet areas, as well as outdoors. This product is tailored to the requirements of thin, flexible stone–resin-based claddings, where traditional cement adhesives cannot offer full support or adequate elasticity.

Applications – where can this adhesive be used?

The adhesive has been formulated for lightweight, flexible wall claddings. It is ideal for installing:

  • Stone on a Roll (stone veneer) – on walls in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms, shower zones, and exterior façades.
  • Carbon Panels – for decorative walls, bathrooms, showers, living rooms, hallways, and commercial spaces.
  • Stone Veneer – on walls, TV-built-ins, niches, furniture elements, and decorative cladding panels.

Thanks to its high adhesion and flexibility, the adhesive can be used on most standard building substrates such as old ceramic tiles, concrete, plaster, drywall (GK), stable painted surfaces, or wood-based boards (MDF, plywood, furniture board).

Average consumption – how much adhesive do you need?

Consumption depends on the type of material and the installation zone:

  • Stone on a Roll: 1 pc (600 ml) for approx. 0.8 m² with full adhesive coverage (recommended).
  • Carbon Panels – bathrooms, wet zones: 1 pc (600 ml) for approx. 0.8 m² with full-surface adhesive spread.
  • Carbon Panels – living rooms, hallways, dry areas: 1 pc (600 ml) for approx. 1.5–2 m² when applied in stripes or patches.

For Stone on a Roll, full adhesive support under the entire sheet is strongly recommended. This prevents “hollow spots” noticeable to the touch and ensures the cladding sits evenly, reducing the risk of local detachment.

How to use – installing Stone on a Roll

Before installation, the substrate must be stable, clean, dust-free, and dry. Apply the adhesive directly onto the wall or the backside of the stone (resin layer), then:

  • Spread the adhesive evenly (ideally using a notched trowel or continuous stripes).
  • Place the Stone on a Roll sheet and press it firmly using a wallpaper roller or by hand with a soft cloth.
  • In wet zones (bathroom, shower), seal all joints and corners with silicone, and once the adhesive cures, apply stone impregnation.

The wall does not need to be perfectly flat – minor uneven areas will be filled by the adhesive, ensuring uniform support under the cladding.

How to use – installing Carbon Panels

For Carbon Panels, the rule is: full adhesive coverage in wet zones and stripes/patches in dry zones:

  • Bathrooms, showers: apply adhesive across the entire panel or wall surface to protect against water and steam.
  • Living rooms, hallways, rooms: adhesive may be applied in stripes or spots, as there is no risk of moisture getting behind the panel.
  • Corners should be sanded at a 45° angle and then sealed with silicone or finished with trim.

Main advantages of the adhesive

  • Dedicated for Stone on a Roll, Carbon Panels and Stone Veneer – formulated for resin–fiberglass-based products.
  • Flexible and durable – moves with the cladding, will not crack or detach.
  • For indoor and outdoor use – resistant to moisture, temperature changes, and weather conditions.
  • Suitable for wet zones – bathrooms, showers, kitchens, steam-exposed areas.
  • High adhesion – to concrete, tiles, plaster, drywall, wood-based boards and other stable surfaces.
  • Optimised consumption – clearly defined coverage rates for Stone on a Roll and Carbon Panels.

Who is this product for?

This adhesive is recommended for both professional installers and DIY users. Simple application, predictable consumption, and suitability for both dry and wet areas make it the best choice when working with Stone on a Roll and Carbon Panels.

Stone on a roll – What is it?

1. Introduction – what is Stone in Roll?

Stone in Roll, also called stone veneer or stone wallpaper, is a cladding material made from a real layer of natural stone that is peeled off from a rock block using resin and fiberglass. The result is an ultra-thin sheet (approx. 2–3 mm) that retains the texture, colour, structure and appearance of natural stone, while being light, flexible, easy to install and resistant to water and weather conditions.

Stone veneer combines the authentic character of natural stone with modern technology, creating a product that is accessible to everyone – even people without construction experience.

2. How is Stone in Roll made? – Production technology

The production process consists of four key layers:

  • Natural slate – 100% real stone layer
  • Adhesive layer – bonds the stone with the fibre
  • Fiberglass – provides flexibility and strength
  • Epoxy resin – stabilises the structure and protects against water

How is the sheet created?
The slate block is heated and then coated with resin, adhesive and fiberglass. After cooling, the resin peels off a thin layer of stone, creating a finished veneer sheet.

3. Properties and technical parameters

  • Thickness: 2–3 mm
  • Weight: approx. 2.5 kg/m²
  • Flexibility: can be installed on arches and columns
